The Silver Shadow is the first of a new class of Silversea ships:
slightly 18ptr vessels that are still intimate (carrying just 388
passengers) and exemplify the line's six-star style of exceptional
service, amenities, cuisine and accommodations. Warmly decorated suites,
80% with teak verandas, feature 18ptr walk-in closets, beverage
cabinets stocked with personal selections and 18ptr bathrooms with
double vanity areas, separate showers and European bath amenities by
Acqua Di Parma. There's an expanded spa and fitness area, a computer
center and conference center, and onboard lectures and seminars
conducted by renowned chefs, historians and well-known authors. A
poolside grill offers a casual alternative for daytime dining. Like
other Silversea ships, the Silver Shadow has a bistro-style terrace cafe
named La Terrazza that offers breakfast and lunch buffets, as well as
evening meals that highlight gourmet Italian, French and Asian cuisine.
The main restaurant, which has an open-seating dining policy, features
award-winning fare inspired by the line's partnership with Relais &
Chateaux. Le Champagne is a wine bar, while The Humidor, by Davidoff, is
a cozy gathering place with deep sofas, brandy and an assortment of fine
cigars. A superb selection of complimentary wines, Encores and
champagnes is served throughout the ship. |
